Welcome Kyle Field, Associate

DVG Partners would like to welcome Kyle Field to the team as our newest Associate. Kyle will work to evaluate and originate deals for the firm, support portfolio companies with operational projects, as well as grow our veterans network through DVG Partners channels and relationships.

Kyle notes, “I’m excited to join a team of military veterans who are committed to each other and to succeeding as an organization. That shared background is so valuable and creates a very familiar work environment where I know I can thrive. As we continue building the team, I will have many opportunities to help other veterans find meaningful and gratifying careers too. I am also eager to work closely with companies in the industries where DVG focuses their investments. I value the honesty and grit of the people at these businesses that are proud to be delivering value to their customers. They see the fruits of their labor every day, whether it's a manufacturing plant or a service business. It is very rewarding to work with and support the men and women at these companies”.

Kyle graduated from Norwich University, a private military school in Vermont, and soon afterwards joined the Army as an infantry officer. He was deployed to Afghanistan twice – in 2011 with 1-25 SBCT and then again in 2014 as a company commander 2nd BDE of the 101st Airborne Division. He completed his MBA at Rice University.

After leaving the Army in 2019, Kyle joined a veteran run technology services provider for the cannabis industry based in Denver, Colorado, where he was tasked with overseeing many of the strategic priorities for the executive team. In that role, he worked with three of their portfolio companies specializing in security, software, and data. Kyle stayed with that company through an eventual merger and listing on the NASDAQ. In his final role, he served as the director of sales and partnerships.

“I was extremely fortunate to be hired out of the Army by a successful veteran entrepreneur who helped me translate my military experiences and skills into valuable business lessons. There I had the opportunity to help grow and transform a company in a uniquely challenging industry while participating in nearly every aspect of the business.  The combination of mentorship I received and real-world experience I gained was irreplaceable. I feel obligated to pay that forward and now with DVG Partners I will be in a position to do so.”  Kyle summarized.

After the dust had settled on the IPO, Kyle felt ready for his next mission – another opportunity where he could make an impact alongside like minded and dedicated professionals.

“I was thrilled after my first calls with Jeff and Ron. When they explained to me their vision for DVG Partners I remember feeling as though they had perfectly articulated something that I had been looking for. I am grateful for the opportunity to join them at DVG and help scale that vision. We know firsthand the unique values and leadership experiences that veterans have and how to harness that competitive advantage to grow and improve businesses.”
